Classic & Podium, what separates them?

You may be aware that we design two types of crew socks, the Classic crew and the Podium.
Long-term supporters will know that the classic crew has been around since day zero, a true staple of the Monkey Sox journey. The podium range is our newest addition, now a year old. Our lightest sock to date which has cemented itself alongside the Classic crew. So the question is, which is best for you?
What are the differences?
To make things simple, we will start with what is the same...everything below the ankle! Both Classic & Podium share the same technology in the foot; a rib arch, mesh upper, lightweight footbed and plated heel and toe - to your foot they fit and feel the same!
The difference between the two is in the cuff. The Classic crew has a 5" double cuff, offering light compression and support from using a secondary layer which proudly stays in place. The Podium crew has a 6" single cuff, a great alternative for those who prefer a lighter feel and need less support.
Our team alternative between the two all the time. Both are valid for all distances, run, gym, cycle and more. In many ways you can be led by colour and your mood on the day!
