Sara Cox Great Northern Marathon Challenge

This week we have been keeping up to date with the progress of Sara Cox and her Great Northern Marathon Challenge in aid of BBC Children In Need, which at the time of writing has raised over £7 million!

So why have we been following so closely?

Children in Need is an incredible cause, we've grown up with Pudsey ourselves, so it meant a lot to have the chance to contribute to this year's event.  Then there's Sara herself!  We've been listening to Sara on BBC Radio 2 for a long time!  To be asked to kit her out was a dream, and we've been hooked on these challenges since Jamie Laing's Ultra Marathon Man Challenge! So what do Jamie & Sara have in common?

Endless grit, determination, open hearts....AND, the same socks on their feet...Monkey Sox!

We were honoured to be asked to support the challenge and Sara has worn Monkey Sox every day, even finding the energy for multiple sock changes every 6 miles or so!    She's been seen in our range of Classic Crew, Podium & Victory Compression socks.

We can't wait to update this blog when her final total comes in.  We're backing her to surpass £8 million for Children In Need, GO SARA!! 

Her challenge will make a huge difference to the lives of so many children and we're so grateful that our cause for Multiple Sclerosis has been able to shine this week too.  Thank you Sara and the incredible team behind her for bring us with you on this journey.
